I saw the video last night on AOL. My husband adores her. I love her stuff in Spanish...her lyrics are awesome. I got my husband into her and now I created a monster!!! We went to see her 2 years ago I think and he was just CRAZY!!!

I forgot to mention that my 5 year old daughter saw the video too...the part where she's all dirty/muddy and doing that belly thing and she started doing it too! Funny, but not funny. I don't want her going to school doing 'La Shakira' dance. God....help me.

YEAH! I don't let her watch videos because they are just way too much. But DH didn't know she was watching. I wanted to beat him.

OMG I absolutely LOVE Alejandro Sanz, been a fan since he started! and I am so proud of Shakira; that's a really good song! they sound great together. I haven't seen the video though.

Thank you for the heads up!!! I will look for it!!! I love her and I love playing her music in the classroom because it gets the kids up and moving!

OMG, u've been looking at my childhood photo albums! I used to do the SAME THING. Don't laugh too hard, but as a kid (probably 7yo), I had this 'thing' of intentionally giving myself a wedgie, and would dance around and chant 'Iris Chacon, ding, ding! Iris Chacon, ding, ding!:... my mom always had a ball with that one.
