Re: Spanish Restaurant

having just joined a Spanish (from Spain) family...I can tell you I have frequented many Spanish restaurants...

Marbellas is OK, but definitely not my favorite...

YOU MUST got to La Paella in Manhattan...on 9th just off of 3rd Ave...It is phenominal...its pretty much all tapas and paella, but the atmosphere is wonderful and the sangria is the best I have ever had...(even better than any I had in Spain)

I will talk to the in-laws about what the recommend on LI...

I know of so many it would be hard to list. Maybe if you narow it down. Do you mean Spanish as in from Spain or in general. Like Mexican, Brazilian, Colombian, etc......

Re: Spanish Restaurant

Ok..here are a couple in my neighborhood...(astoria)

Tierras Colombianas - Colombian (obviously) Great, cheap food, but no ambiance at all. One of my favorites for lots of good food.

Sabor Tropical - Brazillian - Good Food, quiet, small place

El Boqueron (sp??) - This is under the N train. This is cute for a romantic night out. Small, good tapas (never had the entrees), kind of a nyc feel to it, good sangria

Let me know if you need locations.
