Spanx for day of

Has anyone worn spanx under a dress before? Im thinking about wearing one and i have to make up my mind quick because my first fitting is saturday. I'm thinking yes to hide pantylines and prevent chaffing.

also, can I get them at a regular store like kohls or macys?

Are you kidding!! OF COURSE! I wouldn't be caught anywhere without my SPANX. They rock.

If you have never worn them before, I suggest getting the ones you think you might wear for the wedding and wear them casually to get used to the feel.

I find them very comfortable and forget that I have them on. There are lots of styles to fit your needs. Knock offs do not compare in my opinion.

You can't just buy them anywhere, look at the website to find local retailers.

such as:

At my fitting she told me to get the seamless pantie ones, the full one was too much under my dress. If you google coupon you can find one for about $10 off. I got the slim cognito panties. What kind of dress do you have? Also, I didnt have the panties until the second fitting and it was fine. Im happy she rec those instead bc they are easier to get on and off. ANy questions Im happy to help!

Question... Are these easy to get in and out of if we have to go to the bathroom?

Depending on the type of Spanx that you get - bra line to mid thigh, I would make sure that there was an opening at the bottom

I would NEVER be without my Spanx!!!

Depends on your dress. Mine is not a typical one like everyone else's. Can't wear long line bra. With my dress you can't see any panty lines.

Do they sell them with an opening in the bottom? I don't see that anywhere on the website. Maybe you have to cut one out?

That's my fear, like a bad sitcom getting stuck in the bathroom trying to remove spanx and having to go really badly!

They definitely have some with an open gusset. I had this same question a few weeks ago and called customer service. They had to tell me which did and which didn't. And the CS that I spoke with was a man!!! How's that for crazy?!?!?!

I told my mom a year ago to go get Spanx to wear under a dress for some event she was going to. When she came home and went to put them on she was horrified over the fact it was 'crotchless' haha There was an opening in them. She was so weirded out she returned them.

I got Dr. Rey's Shapewear-- he used to have some show on E or something, but now he makes undergarments lol... I like this brand a little better than spanx. They were from Sears. No hole though!
