spanx help

Hi Ladies....... can anyone recommend which spanx or other undergarment that would be good to wear with a strapless mermaid dress? thank you!

What is the back like?? If it has a full back I would go with the strapless full slip.

I HIGHLY recommend this Spanx - it's called the Slim Cognito and it goes all the way up to right under your bra, has little straps you can attach to your bra so that it doesn't roll down, has a crotch split so you don't have to take it off if you use the bathroom and shapes you from high waist all the way down to your hips and upper thighs.

I LOVE mine - I have it in black and in nude.

OMG, where can I find that in stores? I need one just like that - for tomorrow!

SAKS has it in stock - I just went with my BM yesterday to get hers. Bloomies also has it.

One thing - do NOT get it too big. I wear a 10/12 size and the medium is hard to get ON, but once it's on, it holds me well and does not feel too constricting. My BM wears the same size and bought a large last week and we went last night to change hers to a medium.

I got the cheaper version (same company) called Assets in Target. Its a lower end version of the Spanx, but it worked for me!

I had a long line bra that I could sort of see where it ended on my body because my dress was mermaidish.

I put spanx over it, not the one that goes all the way up but the one that ends at the waist and it worked like a charm.

I wish I knew about the ingognito one. I would have used that!
