So I have to get spanx for under my dress and a BM dress for a wedding I'm in soon.
What kind do you ladies normally get??? I've never owned a pair b4 and when I went to the store I didn't realize how many different kinds there are.

i loveeeeeeeee spanx. already bought for under my dress haha. for under a dress i actually recommend 'high power' . it really slims and smooths u everywhere but also does make u go down a size.
I LOVE Spanx also! I'm not sure if I'm wearing them under my gown....other people have said I don't need to..??? Hmm.. BTW, if you haven't already, you ladies NEED to try their running socks! They're soooo soft and comfy!!!
I love them; I had a dress that is very thin and it didn't matter what type of underwear I wore the lines were still visible; I wore spanx under the dress and it was perfect.

Ok I have the ones that come high up the waist & go down to mid thigh. They are FAB & totally worth it...just a bit of advice, they are not the easiest to go to the bathroom in especially after a few drinks!

Ladies -
Target carries Assets. Same maker as Spanx and a heck of a lot cheaper. They do the same job.

I have this one also but it tends to roll down after a few uses and it gets annoying pulling it up.

high power. theyre thicker and really hold u in. i have the thinner spanx also and ive gone through like 3 pairs because they get runs after a few months. the high power is a stronger better material that Realllyy holds u in. but it is also the most expensive.

I don't know that i would buy a smaller because then they have a tendency to roll down. If you need help- go to Blum's in Patchogue you can try them on. Spanx are the same price everywhere. Good Luck
Don't get knock off spanx - they are not the same!
