Sparklers?

Sparklers?

i want to do sparklers at the end of the night. everyone would gather outside and light a sparkler and hold it up for us.

what do you think?

FH thinks its crazy

i wanted to do this - but the stuff that comes off the sparklers can destroy your dress and leave little holes in it!!!!!

yeah i thought of this--but then i thought its the end of the night so who cares?

IMHO i'd skip it....an extra expense and something else you have to worry about bringing and handing out to people...and i'd worry about the sparks burning small holes in the dress.

its a nice idea in theory---but doesn't seem worth it to me

I did this right outside of the church since it was dark out when we got out of the ceremony! Not one person got hurt, it does not burn holes in your dress, and it looks amazing! we got some GREAT shots!

I went to a wedding where this was done. It was fun and the pictures came out amazing! I think it photographs so well!

I just went to my cousin's wedding a few months ago and they did this. I thought it was cute, everyone went out of the RH at the end of the night and gathered out front then lit up. It was a nice touch to the end of the night.

I am doing them for my wedding! We are going to ask people to go out after dinner to take pictures with them. Pictures come out amazing with them! We aren't doing the end of the night send off bc I know we will probably be the last ones out of there, lol

the only place i've seen them in a store on long island is wrap with us. i picked some up for 4th of July but now i wanna go back and get more. a pack of 6 is $2.99

I love the idea...I am thinking that if someone were to do this maybe they would bunbled together at each table with a bow and poem.

I would then have the dj make an announcement shortly before...that is if Joe and I were planning on leaving before the guests.

I think that it would be hard to have them all lit. I have one waiter per table so that should work.

What do you all think? Is it bad to leave before your guests? Maybe half way into viennes hour?
