Anyone ever been to a wedding that had sparklers, did it work? I love this picture I think it's really cute with the little match box tied to them but I feel everyone lighting sparklers could be dangerous What do you think?
I was at a wedding in NC where they had sparklers at the end of the night as everyone was walking out. The FOB gave them out as people were leaving and then all the guests kind of lined the walkway and we lighted them as the bride and groom walked past. It looked really pretty. But, I will say I sometimes have irrational fears and there was a part of me that was afraid someone would get burned. But, no one did.

Yes, I do think it would look really pretty but I think I'll be too nervous about them. I don't know, we'll see??? Thanks for the info

Re: sparklers...?
I saw this in Martha Stewart. I love the idea but check with your Reception Hall because some do not want the liability associated with this (i.e.: fires). I also tried to find the sparklers and they run about $45 for a case.

Re: sparklers...?
Thanks, FH suggested the sam ething last night, he thinks our hall won't allow it.
How many are in a case? I think these were $1.75 for 20 (not sure, could be wrong). So, I was thinking of just getting a few maybe just 40 or so this way it's not too many people lighting sparklers up at the same time.

I think these would work better for an outside or tented wedding - the inside fire fears would get me too!
