Have any of you done a sparkler send off? Where did you buy the sparklers from and how many did you average per guest? Thanks!

I want to do them too since by the time our ceremony ends it will be dark and it looks awesome in pictures!!!!! I was thinking of maybe having the bridal party/family hold them as people go from ceremony to cocktail hour (both will be indoors, but in separate buildings so everyone will have to walk outside)

I went to a wedding where this was done. The bride had the sparklers on a table in the foyer of her venue along with her favors. It was a smaller venue (The Woodlands) so it was pretty easy to come across upon leaving.

I know this is an older thread but I am wonder how your friend did the sparkler photos at the end? Did she say what time she wanted the pictures done? Was is a send off?

We are going to do sparklers for our wedding but I don't want to leave the wedding before everyone else does... is it weird to have people come outside at a specific time to take the picture?

I am doing sparklers and will be doing it at a designated time- thinking of having DJ announce it and Maid of honor execute haha

Can you do this indoors? I'm imagining quite the fire hazard... Alas I don't think the weather will cooperate if we try this outdoors in March.

We had the DJ announce it and everyone went outside. It worked really well. We did it while the venue set up the Viennese hour.

This is actually really perfect! How did you have the sparklers setup? Did you just have them in a bucket or did you put a little note on them? I've seen a few things on Pinterest...

Thanks cdalessio1 too.. MOH is not too coordinated but I was thinking of just attached a invite type thing on the sparklers saying what time and with the help of DJ it should go well

No really make it easy for yourself!! Adding a note is not necessary. The maitre d ran it and it went so smoothly. The DJ announced it to a specific song I picked out, everyone went outside, did the sparklers and when we got back inside the dessert was ready to enjoy. It was so fun! It's really up to the DJ to make the announcement the have the venue coordinate it.

Oh yeah...the venue had a bunch of candles outside already lit so people just needed to light their sparklers there. I used 3-foot long sparklers which lasted about 4-5 minutes each.

Perfection! I really don't want to have to worry about any of that lol

I like that when everyone was back inside the dessert was all setup too.

I want to do sparklers. I'm thinking of having people light them at the end of the ceremony as we're walking out. Our ceremony and CH are both outside. I'm thinking about having one per person, if that and having a bunch for the bridal party so we can take cool pictures with words or symbols drawn with the sparklers. Would it be weird to do it at the end of the ceremony? Is that when people blow the bubbles, etc. or is that when the bride and groom leave the reception?

Does anyone know where to buy them?

I got mine from sparklersonline.com. I was happy with them.
