im registered at: - BBB for most of my stuff: kitchen gadgets, hostess things; linens; blender; toaster oven; and luggage - crate and barrel for my glassware, bar stuff, baking pans, ALL clad pots, and mixer - fortunoff for my china and more hosting things
we are registered at bbb, macys and crate & barrel and are planning to add all clad pots. we were debating bw adding it to macys or bbb. what led you to add them to c&b, is there any benefit?
what thread count are you getting? i registered for 500, 600 is good but ALOT of ppl have said things about 800-1000 thread count. They say that when you wash it, gets a little messed up and when you take it out wrinkles ALOT more than others. 500-600 is good though
i dont know -- we are actually heading over to BBB in 2 minutes to look at pots/pans and bedding since we'll be in the area. we have one set of 550 from Costco right now and it's great. it does wrinkle more but I don't really care. We will prob register for 500 or 620, but we will peek at the 800 and 1000 as well. the sheet set that comes with our bedding is 400, and is more expensive than the 1000 count at BBB so we ruled that out.
yeah 500-600 is good thats what i got too. Its the 800-1000 count that really wrinkles alo. They say it wrinkles a ton more than the 500-600 and those wrinkle too.
We just got back. I felt all of the sheets and couldn't really decide based on that so we just went with the BBB brand 620 threadcount. I'm sure they will be fine. We registered for white and brown, and we might also add a blue set down the road but we werent sure which shade would match our bedding best. Our 550 sheets do wrinkle quite a bit so I can't imagine how bad the 1000 must be. I have absolutely no desire to iron my sheets. We bought an iron and ironing board rather than registering for them because we didnt want to wait, but we haven't used either! We have used our garment steamer though, works pretty well on FH's shirts.

Re: speaking of bedding
You don't even know what we have been through picking out bedding! BE VERY CAREFUL if you decide to use Fortunoff! Lots of their bedding say 'Bridal Registry' or basically give the OK in scanning that type...but from what I have been through this is not always true! Have a sales person actually make a call for you or ask their manager if the type you picked is being discontinued! Fortunoff will be getting new bedding in the beginning of May...We just picked a bedding that is a price that we thought would be perfect--but we plan on returning it after the shower and picking something else.

SOO I was trying to put the bedding i picked up for you guys...I actually made sure from a sales person that it was not going to be gone. I know that was very crucial for us girls not buying it that second!!! RIGHT! So she was awesome!!!!!!! I love it, its Michael Kors. (Brand NEW)

Re: speaking of bedding
I'm registered for my bedding at BBB. I wasn't even looking for a bedding set yet, but I happened to see this one, loved it, so I registered for it. The set we currently have is from Fortunoffs. I love their selection, everything is so nice.
