Remember my friend I was talking about that asked me to be a BM and I was annoyed that I had to chip in for the shower PLUS dish it out for a stripper?
Honest to god I have not heard from her since February 11th. I only know that because I went dress shopping with her that day for her BP.
Understandable, everyone is busy...but shes not. What gives?! I also found out she hasnt spoken to my other friend whos in the BP.
Weird right?

Hmmmm maybe she is going through some things that you might not know about?
I would be the bigger person and reach out to her and see if anything is wrong.

I know I called her and she never picked up. Then I sent her an email and she never wrote back.
But through the grapevine, I found out her mom is collecting money for the shower. I dont know...

How many of you have been BMs that chipped in for a shower? Everytime I've been a BM the mother has taken care of the shower.

seriously!!! I have only been responsible for the shower ONCE out of the 8 times I've been a BM and that's becuase I was the MOH and Bride's mother wasn't readily available but anyway....
That's TOTALLY strange she isn't replying to you. You think she is just trying to ignore you??
I have seen LOTS of crazy things happen to people during BM experience--you never know!

Me too...
I asked my sister and she said that she collected money from all the BMs for her friends shower.
But then one of my friends asked me to be a BM and her mom paid for the shower...I guess its the decision on if the mother wants to pay for it or not.

I honestly dont know..its kinda a long story with her and her hubby. but to each his own. As long as SHES happy, then so be it.
But yeah, I just feel a little bit slighted that she asked me to be a BM, and Im very honored about it, but how come me and another girl dont hear from her? I thought to be a BM is kind of a special friend. Not just any old schmuck you know.

same here! my mom in law is paying for my shower. my bm's are going to chip in for my bacholerette party but thats an easy one bcuz i already told them i just want to go out CLUBBING!!!! and get DRUNK! and thats it! lol and we used to do that all the time (when i was single) anyway so i dont think anyone will be spending much money.
