Speaking of boudoir pics...

I need your opinion...

I really want to do bpics...for myself as well as for FH. I want it to be a surprise for my FH, so i havent really mentioned it to him. My only problem is the fact that they are kind of pricey...
And i'd feel guilty spending $500...700 on pictures..especially when FH's job cut him down to 4 work days a week (Chrysler mechanic)..

What do you girls think? Should I wait and do them after the wedding...when we'll have more expenses (rent and food..etc) or should I just s*ck it up, save my money on the side and do them now?

I would wait. You'll get cash at the wedding and see where you guys stand afterwards. You can schedule soon thereafter (while still in wedding shape ) and give them to him for Valentine's/Birthday/Anniversary.....you can even do a super hot shot with your veil.

You don't need any additional stress.

I would do them now! Its such a great gift! I think my photographer Amanda is doing them for a little less money, but I'm not sure of her exact price. Check her out www.amandapicone.com

She did my e-pics and e-party pics, they are in my album.

Yeah I like the idea of anniversary, the 1st anniversary is paper, so a photobook would be so cute. Besides if he is stressed about $ and doesn't act gaga over the pics b/c he's thinking about the money, your feelings might be hurt. I mean of course he will act gaga, but you know what I mean.

Hey if your mom is cool with it, thats awesome! You should get her to open a business and we'll all go to her I want to do those pics too but I don't really want to spend all that money... Of course it would be nice to look back in 40 years and remember what we looked like...

I wouldn't do it in your situation. TRUST me...if your FH is frugal and money is tight and you do something 'wasteful'...he'll resent it. It's a lot of money still, even if you found a lower priced one. Just think of that as going towards a DJ...a night at a hotel...an end table...

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but I know that my FH would be furious beyond belief if I spent our money on something like that, and fortunately we are both employed at the moment. I would wait until after the wedding and see what your situation looks like then, or have a friend do it if they're capable.
