are Christmas 'babies'? Our Son will be 31 on Dec. 26th. He was born just a tad after the 25th., and still was given a little Christmas hat at the hospital. We try to keep Birthday and Christmas separate; How about you? Did your family keep the Birthday and Christmas, separate? Mary MOB

Re: Speaking of Christmas, how many of you, with Poll
I'm December 27th...December 26th was always the absolute looooongest day ever when I was a kid because Christmas was yesterday and tomorrow is my birthday you know. My parents are pretty good about keeping it separate-there are 2 things that just always drove me crazy though: 1. I HATE it when my birthday presents are wrapped in Christmas paper. I know it's annoying to have special birthday paper for me during the Christmas holiday but my sister's gifts aren't wrapped in Christmas paper in May-it's birthday paper. 2. I HATE HATE HATE when people shop for my birthday presents on my birthday. I understand now that I'm older that paydays fall between Christmas but I feel forgotten about and it makes me sad. Those are my 2 rules and DH is really good about it lol. My parents are much better now because they know how upset I get if my birthday isn't treated like my birthday. I don't think I'm asking for too much...

I'm sorry Brianna and Melody!!! It just occurred to me that I should have included some other Dec. days, close to Christmas, in the poll!!!! Another thing I do sometimes for our Son, is give him a regular Birthday Card, and also a 'December' Birthday Card. Have either of you ever gotten a Dec. BD card? Mary MOB

My son is the 20th. I am a twin and born on the 8th. Also my grandma was the 5th. My dad once gave my sister and I a gift to share for our birthday and christmas-1/4 gift I always keep my son's day separate and make sure everyone else does. He gets like 10 days of gifts between the holidays, family given bday gifts and bday party gifts his father and I throw for him.

Woohoo!!! Capricorns are awesome! Thanks for the well wishes Mary. My DH is really great about my birthday. Every year I get so excited that's its my birthday and he is like you are so annoying. Last year though, he was like yay it's your birthday and was really excited for me. It was really nice because so many times my birthday gets lost in the shuffle of Christmas and New Year's. He is awesome.

Re: Speaking of Christmas, how many of you, with Poll
i was born a month earlier, so my birthday sometimes lands on Thanksgiving. I LOVE that, because it's a fun holiday (so most years I used have off from school and now I usually have off from work). I'm also happy with it because it's not landing on too BIG of a holiday where as I'd have to share. lol.
My ANNIVERSARY, however, will be during Christmas time. I think we plan not to celebrate the day of though. There's just too much going on this time of year. i have a feeling we'll be celebrating the first week of December instead

Re: Speaking of Christmas, how many of you, with Poll
Im not a Christmas baby, but I was born on Valentines Day and everytime I tell people my birthday is 2/14, i get 'Oh Valentines Day how cute!' then 'Do you get jipped on gifts?' or 'I feel bad for your bf/FH.' Do any of you Christmas babies get the same thing from people??
Sometimes FH does give me combo gifts but its Valentines Day so I dont mind. Its really the thought behind it that counts
