mine for instance, is 1.01 carat marquise, set in platinum with 2 baguettes and a princess on each side

1.75 round center, with one baguette on each side of it, set currently in white gold, but changing to platinum next week. I LOVE MY RING! It is an heirloom stone from my FI's family.

Mine is a three stone ring(all round) in platinum. Over 2 total. And I must say that I love my plain platinum band-I was sure I wanted diamonds, but I fell in love with my E-ring all over again on the HM with my wedding band next to it.

1.15 diamond solitaire with a .75 sapphire solitaire on either side in a platinum 4 prong basket setting.

1.5 round center stone with a baguette on either side set in a tiffany platinum setting d in color, vvs1 in clarity! 1.83 total weight. FH did a great job!

Didn't get mine *yet* but, should be a saphire in the center with two round diamonds on the sides. For those of you who responded to an older thread we had debated about what to get, and we have now seen a few different saphire rings that I LOVE, so we are going in that direction. Should be in the next couple weeks, I am SO EXCITED!!!!
edited to add: Thrilled your ring sounds gorgeous, Mine should be like yours in reverse it sounds!

My ring is 1.53 round stone with two princess cut diamonds on each side... Set 6 prongs in a platinum setting! I love it! My FH really out did himself!

NRV don't worry. It IS a fun topic. As more girls get engaged, and others get married, the people posting shift and aren't aware of older threads. I think it's nice that we can post and share this sort of stuff without getting b**tchy on each other. I get enough of that crap in my real life.

1.25 round-high set with 6 prongs. 4 princess cut diamonds on each side in a step-channel setting (white gold) 2 ct. total. It is clear and sparkly! FH did a GREAT job!!!
