The other topic got me thinking of where I would like to be taken for V-Day.. hehe
Anyone know of any good fondue resteraunts on LONG ISLAND? Can't go into the city or anywhere else.. we would be pressed for time as it is.

Sweetwaters in Hauppauge has fondue appetizers and dessert - and Cosi in Huntington village is more of a coffee bar type place but they have a dessert fondue - they also have make your own s'mores which is a lot of fun too!

If you find one will you let me know - We used to go to la bonne soupe in NYC on 54 I think between 5 and 6th right near la cote basque. They had great cheese, beef and chocolate fondue - but they got rid of their beef fondue for insurance liability reasons (I guess fear of burning a customer or employee with the hot oil)

The Melting Pot is alot of $$$$, I went to one in Phoenix, OMG the bill was crazy!!! I did not know there is one on the island!?
Sweetwaters is really good, We had the lobster fondue and a chocolate one.
My mom and dad have been to the one in huntington, they had s'mores at the table, I think that would be a fun place to go.
The black forest brew haus in farmingdale has a chesse fonde app. and so does Red lobster.
Go with Sweetwaters!!!

Just went to there website and they list no locations in new york. I HAVE been to the melting pot in Jersey and also in South Carolina. It is very expensive but OH GAWD is it good
