How many of us girls are doing the Bouq & garter toss??
Im not doing either. Im thinking Of just passing the Bouq to the next girl (my friend) who is getting married after me.

Re: Speaking of Garter Toss...
I'm not doing either of them. I hated being dragged onto the floor when I was single and I know my single friends feel the same. No need to make people uncomfortable at my wedding.

Re: Speaking of Garter Toss...
Its a 'No' for me as well. I am 30 and most of my friends are the same age, and most oft hem married. Last thing I want to do is call out all of the single girls!
And besides, I have ALWAYS HATED this part of a wedding when I have gone to them so I figured, why would I have it at mine?

All the more reason to torture my friends.....
Ha Ha.
actually, I'm really looking forwards to the garter and bouquet toss. I've already figured out that when they call the girls to the floor, the song playing will be either 'Bad medicine' or 'You give love a bad name' by Bon Jovi. Most of my girlfriends are single and we all LOVE Bon Jovi. My FH has already pciked out the song he wants for pulling the garter off of my leg as well.
And my FMIL is so sweet and already offered me her garter to wear (not to toss).

I always told myself I wasn't going to do this but all my friends actually want me to. I think I am going to find something different to do instead.

Re: Speaking of Garter Toss...
We arent going to do either - we are planning on some type of dance elimination like kicking couples off in the incriments of 5 years of marriage until the longest married couple is left and the woman will get the boq

Re: Speaking of Garter Toss...
I'm with alot of you. I'm not doing it. First, there aren't that many singles even coming to the wedding, so it would REALLY put them on the spot (like five guys and 3 girls!!!!). Also, it takes up so much time that we really want for dancing!!

Doing anniversary dance instead - there won't be that many single people at our wedding, and besides, IMHO, it's embarassing!
