Re: Speaking of Gasoline
we have a road trip in May, but other than that, we'll be stayin' close to home if the prices are like this or go higher this summer.

Re: Speaking of Gasoline
I have to put 93 octane in my TT to get 'maximum performance'... so I am getting a little owned at the pump. I gotta pay $2.50 plus.
But my gas mileage is better than my last car (about 5-8 miles / gallon better) so it kinda of evens out.
My FW gets horrid gas mileage in her 05 Liberty. But she loves that car so I don't think she really cares.

Re: Speaking of Gasoline
Plus... people always ***** about gas prices this time of year. Gas rates ALWAYS go up in April May... where it peaks at TOP dollar right around Memorial Day.
Expect to pay about $2.80 or so by Memorial Day weekend.

Re: Speaking of Gasoline
$2.80 by Memorial Day--whoa! We are going to Boston for 4 days, and I never really cared about gas prices until about now, and gosh, $2.80ish! I wonder if we took the Orient ferry, if their prices will go up as well, so we can save on the gas. Wish my paycheck was going up to equal this out!

Re: Speaking of Gasoline
The news said by summer the prices we pay now will be a distant memory.....
They are talking over $3.00 a gallon

Re: Speaking of Gasoline
In Jersey the highest I have seen it is 2.09. There is a BP on route 35 (for anyone wishing to go to the Shore) that was 1.95 as of last night.
