now I am not the type of girl to fault another for checking my man out- I think he's pretty damn good looking myself. HOWEVER, throwing yourself at his feet- totally different ball game. LOL I can't help it- I HATE when girls come on to him (even when they don't know he's already taken- that ring can't come soon enough!)
case in point- he went to a new client the other day so at night he was telling me about it. he was like- 'oh yeah, the girl I was working with there asked me where I lived and I said Prospect Heights. ' THEN he tells me she said 'oh really, I have an apt on 10th Street and 1st ave, but I plan on moving to Ft. Greene really soon' (ft greene being VERY close to Prospect Heights)
so in my mind she's like- here's my address come for a visit and soon I'll move closer to you!
that's probably not the case, but that's what I hear...
he just laughs and says 'you're so jealous' and all I can say is 'yes, I am'

If I were you I would just smile because so long as you know that your Fh is not going to act on it that is all that matters. If I were you I would take it as a compliment that my man is that hot. You will not be able to escape females throwing themselves at him that is how these females operate these days (desperate). LOL

Jess, I'm totally jealous too - sometimes I know I sound so ridiculous, but I can't help myself! I don't worry about FH, but I know how manipulative girls can be!!!

Jess...I am the same way with thsi one girl my Fh was friends with back in the day...she is a few years younger and STILL flirts with him right in front of me and I cant get rid of her since she is always at parties for their friends... This girl gets under my skin... BUT then i realize that she is the one who looks RIDICULOUS flirting with an almost married man!

Women love my FH because he's good looking and fit, but also he's a sensitive man, loves to talk about deep issues, is a healer so he'll give a massage to anyone who asks - so needless to say, I observe lots of flirting -plus he's clueless, which is so funny, but sometimes he'ss too clueless, and I have to tell him later - uh, you know, she practically had her tongue down your throat! LOL

OMG, I can't take my man anywhere. He's SO lucky I'm not 'dangerously' jealous!!!
Examples: We went out dancing and I didn't want to dance anymore so I told him he could dance, there was this girl checking him out so I told him to dance with her and she said no!!! She probably felt my 'I'm gonna rip your eyes out, look!!!' Anyway out of no where this girl literally comes running across the dance floor to dance with him. WHATEVER!!!!
Just last week: We are waiting in a waiting room and I go to the rest room and as soon as I walk away this young girl starts talking to him, she's 17 years old, she asked him his age and he said 30 and she says 'no way, you don't look 30.' She's all smiley smiley with him and I come back and I'm drying my RING infront of her and she just stops smiling!!!
I know he's HOT, but some women have NO SHAME!!! Makes me want to get 'ghetto' on them.

oh believe me I do. I don't get MAD like that- it makes me laugh that I even get like this. We've been together almost 11 years- I am very used to it. it's usually fairly innocent, but a few times I've had to put someone in check- not so much for the looking, but the disrespect.
Once a girl knows he's mine, she needs to BACK UP LOL! some don't- poor them.

I'm jealous tooooo.
FH is an elementary school teacher, and in a special ed grad program. He is with women ALL DAY!
I totally trust him and know he would never even think of hurting me, but it's soooooo annoying when I check our email (combined acct, used mostly for wedding stuff, combined banking, etc...he gives this out to classmates, too) and see a message from 'Jess'-
'Heeey - your presentation in class last night was incredible! I could never be that organized! Maybe we can meet after class next week and you can give me some tips! Here's my # xxx-xxxx...or you can just email me back! Thanks a whole bunch :stupid cute smiley: Jess'
He reponded - 'My fiancee helped me w/ my presentation - she's an organizational freak! See you next class.'

Re: speaking of jealousy- I may be the worst!
I hear stories all the time from FH about work...Considering he is in the restaurant/club industry, he deals with a lot of women! You can imagine all the girls that hit on him & they all know he is getting married!!! I laugh at it bc I know he is coming home to me at night! But it does get me deep down inside when I see it first hand! I feel like shoving my ring in clear view!

They hit on him even though he is getting married BECAUSE he is getting married. It is simply women wanting what they cannot and should not have. I have been hit on more since I got engaged than before. Men do it too. It is something like a social or sexual 'coup' if you will. As if they think they are better than the man you already have.

I can honestly say FH is the only person/thing I can get jealous about. I don't take kindly to disrespectful girls.

Re: speaking of jealousy- I may be the worst!
that sounds like a normal conversation to me... I was once a little jealous when FH moved cross the country (where i am now) and he says oh an old college friend (a girl) lives there, never met her or heard of her... we're gonna get together some time he tells me... totally innocent i know, but still!!! i dont assume innocent on her part although it probably was!!! Well they never got together sooo... and since i moved out here almost a yr later we've never met up with her...
FH gets a little jealous sometimes (i think), very subtly.. I can be nieve to conversations and intentions sometimes and when i sometimes tell him about them he is like 'he wants you'... i laugh it off... and he says i know how guys operate! i do have to say he snuck his way into my life... i was so unaware and caught off guard! heehee.. i love him!

Re: speaking of jealousy- I may be the worst!
I USED to be the worst but I've really calmed down a lot in my jealousy We've been together since college and I felt like other girls were at their most ruthless in college and for maybe a year or two after. There are definitely girls out there that just love to go after guys that are taken or to cause trouble..jeez..didn't they have anything better to do? ughh..we used to have terrible fights about this stuff. he is another of the totally clueless types about girls flirting with him..I think he has gotten slightly more aware and I have calmed down a bit and it works much better now!

Re: speaking of jealousy- I may be the worst!
I tend to be extremely jealous...I think women flirt on purpose, especially when you are with your man...even giving eyes walking down the street, etc.
We went to a family party when I was w/ FH about 6 months & an ex of his was at the party. She didn't come up to him the entire time I was there, until I went outside w/ one of the little ones and then when I walked back in, she was by his side flirting, asking q's, etc. (I was pissed).
Another time this chic (a gf of one of the guys) was making sexual innuendos to ALL the guys when about 6 couples were away one weekend (work friends of his)...she was definitely out of control. The guys were even like, RELAX.
Makes me URRRRRRRRRRRR though

Re: speaking of jealousy- I may be the worst!
I am not even the least bit jealous. DH is in 2 bands and one time a very intoxicated girl went up on stage and started grinding behind my boyfriend at the time. I was a little tipsy too, but still didn't care. Well, MOH freaked out and went up on stage and almost knocked her out!!!
P.S. The ring makes it worse!!!
P.P.S. Who knows what else happens when I'm not around...
