Speaking of Mother's gowns. . .( Westchester question)
Does anyone know any place that FMIL can look in Westchester?
She said she doesn't want anything flashy/sparkly & doesn't want to spend a lot, but I don't know how much a lot is in her world.
She'd prefer off the rack, but she could probably fit into samples.

Well as far as department stores go, she can go to Blomingdales, Nordstroms, Saks, Lord & Taylor, etc.. As for dress stores, Elephants Trunk is Mt. Kisco has some beautiful dresses, but they're not cheap and I don't know how much she's looking to spend. She can also try some bridal stores like Fantana or even David's Bridal in Yonkers.

Yeah, she was thinking department stores. maybe even Neieman Marcus. My mom really liked Totally You & Sugar Plum on LI, & I was wondering if there was anything like that up here.

bump. . . has anyone heard of L'Moda in White Plains Follia Bridal in White Palins or the Bridal Shop in Mamaroneck.
I got these off various manufacturuer sites' store locators, but I don't know if they are worth going to.
