Speaking of payments.....all my Pedestals brides...

Quick question.....

I know that 50% payment is due 6 weeks prior to the wedding...does anyone know if they will be sending a bill via mail?

Coz looking at my contract, it just has the a total $$ without taxes included. So I was just curious do I send 50% of what is listed on my contract, or should I call them.

If anyone knows it woud be helpful...

i'm assuming they'll send you a bill ... they told me that if i don't want to pay the tax, i need to pay cash so i'd find out about that.

hmm...they didnt send us a bill but we had our Sample Centerpiece appt about 6 weeks before so we just paid there. It was before tax I believe.

I'm glad you posted this, I totally did not realize we had to pay that in advance! I will be paying 50% of the total balance according to what it says on my contract.

To be honest...at the SC bridal expo when I went last year they said if you make an appt today with us you will get I think it was $200 off or something like that.

When I went to the appt, I never saw a discount given and nothing on my contract. At first, they quoted me a bit higher than I wanted, and I was going to go elsewhere, but then they called me to say they would bring it down by $300, so I decided to go with them and not bother asking about the discount.

The only vendors that I saw from the Swan Club that actually gave me discounts for using them that I saw on the contract, were In The Mix DJ (gave me $300 off) and Royalty Limo which I think gave me like around $50 -$75.

So I spoke with Pedestals and they said that a final contract would be sent a month before the wedding by mail. If there is no response to that they would start calling. Also in terms of the preferred Vendor discount, it was 10% and it was worked into my quote but not recorded

I didn't know the answer to this myself, but I was just there last Saturday. We went and saw our sample centerpieces. I was ready to give them a payment, but technically we were earlier than 6 weeks before our wedding, so according to the contract we did not have to pay yet.

Well to my surprise Nadia said that if we pay cash, we don't have to pay tax and the remaining balance would be due like a week or so before the wedding, which for me is June 30th. Other than that, no payments at all need to be made. So not sure if that is what you plan to do but it def will save you $ and by you time for making payments! Who doesn't love that!

Also, we got a slight discount on things because they are a prefered vendor at The Inn, just speak to your consultant and they def should give you something off for that.

Awesome that is good to know!! Now I need to make sure to pull out some moolah the day i go for my sample centerpiece. Hope she does the same for me.
