Speaking of Pew Bows............

Does anyone know how to make them yourself? Or does anyone know a website that will teach me? I could've sworn I saw a website before

I need 20 bows, white & peach, and I dont feel like paying a whole bunch of $$ for them. I figure I'll go to Micheals for supplies and make them myself. Any ideas?

You can buy that big bow maker from Micheals. From what I understand, thats the easiest way to do it. However - ribbon is very expensive - it maybe worth it to pay for it.

If you buy the ribbon at Fantasyland they make the bows for free! You can always do that. I was going to but my florist is only .50 more than they charge so I figured let her do it. I think they are only a couple of dollars per bow.

Oh shoot, ribbon is expensive too ?

Darn I want the peach and white with a little hint of silver, kind of like this pic (except with peach also)
Where can I even find that??????

BTW, THESE ARE $42 FOR 12, I would need 2 sets, is that how much I really should expect to pay?

You can buy this kind of ribbon (acetate) at www.cheapribbons.com

Also - if you make them yourself, you will need to get someone to set them up for you too.

I know you can pick whatever ribbon you want and they make it. Not sure how much it would be. Call them and see.

Speaking of, I cant wait for my tiara, I'm getting so excited, and I'm going to go in January to try it on again w/the tiara

hotelcalie, thanks for your help. Question: Do you know if they have organza ribbons there? I saw some organza bows on that cheapribbons website and ME LIKEY

but those might be even harder to make myself so I may want to use Fantasyland.

Edit to say, Stef, that website was great. I have to compare prices for the ribbons, but I'm sure they are good, b/c the prices for the orgaanza bags were the BEST I've ever seen

They do have organza ribbon there. They charge I believe 2.50 for a generic pew bow not sure how much for organza would be. Call them and tell them what you want. I know my mom had bows made for my shower and they were eally nice and cost over $20 a bow so I think it totally depends! Wish I could be more help.

If anyone wants my pewbows(sorry no pic) I can bring them to the GTG(if it is changed to the 17th) and whomever wants them can have them! They are irridesent(sp) not pure white.
