Speaking of pots...

I'm thinking maybe I should upgrade mine to a better brand. But they are SO expensive! What are you guys getting? Mine are at BB&B.

Are these cheap and not good quality? I want something that will last. Plus, we only registerd at BB&B since we live together and have stuff already.

I would register for a really good - well known set of pots. They can last you 20, 30, 40 years if theya re good quality.LINK TO HOW TO CHOOSE PANS

Re: Speaking of pots...

I have the Calphalon Tri-Ply stainless steel 10-pc set ... I love them , they are of a very good quality and so far are perfect.

If I could do it again though I would have gone for the ALL-CLAD, just cause I love all-clad even more and think they are even better than calphalon..

Re: Speaking of pots...

Very nice. I think they are too pricey for my registry and guests. But I did upgrade to the $200 Calphalon 10 piece stainless steel set!

I got them for my engagement. I think it's worth the extra money to have good cookware. Also, you said you already have a ton of stuff cause you live together ... then why not upgrade to the better quality stuff?

Re: Speaking of pots...

Here are mine:

Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 12-Piece Set

You'll be cooking like a professional in no time. The versatile shape of every pan will suit many recipes. Pieces feature a full-capacity line to prevent overfilling which makes for easy handling from kitchen to table. The hard-anodized outside and non-stick inside combine durability and performance. Thanks to long, stay-cool handles, pieces can be handled easily through hours of stovetop cooking. Glass covers are great for see-through convenience and attractive presentations. Hand wash. Lifetime warranty. 12-piece set includes 8' omelette, 10' omelette, 1 1/2-quart covered saucepan, 2 1/2-quart covered saucepan, 3-quart covered saute pan, 8-quart covered stockpot, pasta insert and double boiler.

$449.99

EDIT: I actually just edited our registry. I deleted the pot set and added individual pots. I think we have a better chance of getting the individual pots than the whole set. It costs more that way, but whatever.

I went back and forth with this. I originally opted for the Calphalon then switched to the All-Clad and then back again.
I got the 8 piece set and then added the griddle pan, grill pan and a 4qt sauce pot.

I was gonna go all the way with the all-clad but they weren't non-stick and truthfully I had a hard time finding the pieces I wanted. Also the $$$.
