I'm just doing it word of mouth. Invites for me would just be another expense and headache.

Re: Speaking of Rehearsal Dinner
Im just letting everyone know.. RD invites seems like just another thing to add to the mile high list!! Everyone in my BP knows there is a dinner after the church rehearsal, why kill innocent trees!!

Re: Speaking of Rehearsal Dinner
FIL hosted the dinner and sent out invites. Since we had 50 people (BP and immediate family), it was easier to just send out invites.

Re: Speaking of Rehearsal Dinner
My rehearsal dinner will also be a welcome dinner for out of town guests. So, I am enclosing a card with the invitation.

Re: Speaking of Rehearsal Dinner
I'll probably send out very simple invites with just the necessary info. Save the fancy stuff for the wedding. I think it's helpful for people to have something to hold onto, helps them remember.

I agree. This is my closest family and friends at this thing. I am doing it family style at an asian restaurant. I do not think I will be having invites

I'm planning on doing the same thing, I've received invites for most of the rehearsal dinners I've gone to (I did receive one Evite though).

I think I am going to send a note with info for the bridesmaids that will include that.
