Speaking of Rehearsal Dinners

I know it still early for some of us, but I was wondering when you all were having yours?

We are getting married on a Friday. Is it not a good idea to have it a week before? We were thinking Saturday the 6th since that friday before is cinco de mayo and we go out for that. Is it bad to have it a week earlier or should we do it closer to the 12th during the week? i thought the weekend so people wouldn't have to worry about getting up for work the next day and we can have a few cocktails

My reason for thinking about this now is cause I have everything else done, except the flowers. we have a florist, just not the flower selection. and i'm doing nothing here at work other than being on here, but i'm always on here whether i'm busy or not

We are getting married on Friday also ...I am going to take to the Hall since we are getting married on friday nite and just going to see what day that week they have open and go from there .....

Besides, your BP will most likely take a day or two off before your wedding. even if not, I am sure it wouldn't be the first time they went to work with a little weekday happy hour hangover!

the night before - i have 1/2 at least if not more from OOT.

I think we might do it 2 days before, since we are getting married on a Sunday. I have no idea where it will be but I think we are going to have like 20 people.

It all depends on who is in your BP...Chances are, we will be doing ours the weekend prior to the wedding...It makes it easy for all of our BP who work all over the island...So to make it during the week would be too hectic...
