Speaking of scary dreams

Has anyone ever dreamed that they can't wake up? It hasn't happened recently but I've had that dream a couple of times and it is soooooooooooo scary.

I have had dreams that i know i am dreaming and trying to scream so i could wake up....

Me three. I hate that dream. I have one where I feel like I am being suffocated.

I've had that dream before too. I used to have scary dreams all the time when I younger, but not so much anymore. I still rememebr one that freaks me out to this day, and it's so vivid in my mind even though I was only 13 at the time!

OH MY GAAAAAD! YOU TWO DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH BETTER YOU MADE ME FEEL JUST NOW! That is EXACTLY the dream I've had... It's like you wanna scream to wake up... and you're telling yourself to wake up!!!

I'M SO RELIEVED THAT I'M NORMAL
It's really the worst dream. Wonder what it means....

I have had the ones where my mind is totally awake but my body isn't. (and I am unconscious). I know a few times I spent close to 15 or 20 minutes to get myself woken up. You feel totally paralyzed and it is REALLY scary. Hasn't happened in a few years though.

oh it is totally normal....
it is actually pretty cool IMO!

There is this thing called lucid dreaming where you are taught to take control of your dreams

Really? that IS cool... I would love to control my dreams... Especially the GOOD ones when you don't WANT to wake up...

Really? that IS cool... I would love to control my dreams... Especially the GOOD ones when you don't WANT to wake up...

true but it is VERY hard to do!

I love nightmares but that one is BAD. Becuase the dream that starts me trying to wake myself up is usually the one where I cant move my arms and legs.

My wake up place is the bathroom!
