I did not get paid today. Nor will I get paid till Monday. All my direct debits are going to bounce and now I do not have money to tip the photographer at our e-pics tomorrow. I feel like such a deadbeat.

My company uses them as their bank. So because TD is having trouble right now no one got their direct deposits at my company today.
thats ridiculous they should definitely waive the fee for you - whats going on there? I bank there...

Re: Speaking of TD Bank
They will waive the fees, make sure you b!tch and complain about it. As soon as the problems get sorted out and all the money gets put in the right places my FH is closing his account there and getting a joint acct with me at Chase, the TD thing is just so ridiculous. I bet a lot of people are going to leave that bank over what happened the last couple weeks.
ETA: What's going on there is they tried to merge their computer systems or something to that effect with Commerce, since TD took over Commerce, and for at least a few days (the bank people told us anyway) all the NY branches were offline, couldn't see how much money people have in their accounts, people's direct deposits weren't going through, couldn't access money, showing insufficient funds/bouncing checks even though plenty of money was in many of the accounts. I had a friend bounce a rent check because of it, we waited a few days to pay ours because we couldn't see if the money had been deposited. I actually feel bad for the TD Bank employees because it's not their fault but all they've had for weeks are angry customers and they have no answers/help to give.

Re: Speaking of TD Bank
call your individual branch and speak to them. When I called customer service number today, like 565 times, they told me I could call the branch itself and they would waive my fees. They know they have fked up a lot of accts and I think they will basically waive mostly everything if you give them a call and complain. Try it, I did!
what is going on there? I haven't had any problems...
edited cause i can't read...

This happened at my company too, anyone who uses TD Bank did not get their direct deposit last pay day. I thought it was a one time thing.. I had no idea it was still going on.
It was worked out by the end of the day... but still. It is NOT your fault... the bank will have to clear any overdraft fees.
