Speaking of timing, if.........

Speaking of timing, if.........

If guests come late to the ceremony and my procession is in progress, or a prayer is being said, will the guest know not to walk in and wait until an appropriate time, or should I have the Usher guarding the door?

Yes the ushers should be guarding the door. Thats what mine did. Most people will have common sense not to enter during prayer and processional though.

some guests do and some don't. Usually the church has another door they can go thru. My limo driver helped direct traffic of the late comers.

Also I think it is best to have the usher b/c I went to a wedding at a church that as soon as you enter there is a door . Well we were running late. When we opened the door the bride was coming down the aisle. Well we closed it back. If there was an usher they would of told us do not open the door.

My church has side entrances that make it not so obvious if someone is late. I will have the limo dirver direct them to those doors instead of the middle ones (thanks for reminding me)

Liz, my coordinator was responsible for this, she did not let anyone in until after I had walked down and the prayer.
