Speaking of Walmart

Speaking of Walmart

I dont usually shop there but yesterday FH wanted to go check it out so I went with him.

This may seem a little silly but ....

They have a fish section where you can buy fish etc. As I was looking in the tanks I noticed that half of the fish where dead or dying. I found this a little upsetting b/c we are all gods creatures fish or not. So I told FH that I was going to find the store mgr which I did. (fh was embarrassed) She told me that they where aware of the problem and that the tanks have been fixed. So I said to her that if the tanks where fixed then why are there dead fish in them and I dont see any oxygen been circulated (sp) in the tanks. She repeated that they where fixed. So I said to her that I am going to report them. But who can I report them to?

I'm right on the I hate Walmart bandwagon, too. DH worked for them upstate as a service manager in the auto department (Walmart is much bigger upstate) for many years and he absolutely hates the place. He says they're as corrupt as you could imagine.

My BIL works for them up by his college and he could not come home for Thanksgiving because everyone had to be in for double shifts the next day. Now if you can't give a college kid who's away from home a break, you're not getting any money from me.

Call the county health department and see if they have any jurisdiction over them.

Call a local vet to see if they can recommend a number.

Call the police to ask them who covers animal cruelty - I've seen that show on TV with the animal cops, though I don't know if they cover fish.
