I work in a hospital and I've been employed on various floors over the years, so along the way I accrued quite a few 'Friends'. Well...when it came time to do the guest list from work (which I seriously contemplated bc if I invited everyone it would nearly double my guest list with guests etc), I did the people that work my weekend that i have known the longest. Well.....there is a guy that works on my floor who I don't consider myself to be close with...I socialize with him AT work...but he never invited me to any of his BBQ's (only a 'select' few get invited) and he is making SUCH A SHOW about not being invited to my wedding! He hasn't spoken to me in 3 weeks.....he pretty much ignores my patients...and when a call bell goes off for one of his patients, if I go in to make sure they are OK (policy is that you NEVER walk past a blinking call bell)...he immediately comes in and 'dismisses me'. He walks right past me and doesn't even have the nerve to look at me.
To top it off...when I tried explaining to him how i decided who would be invited and that I have a huge family and the place only holds 240 people, he goes 'no it's OK...i don't deserve it'


WHERE WAS MY BBQ INVITATION? HUH??

I had someone come up to me the other day and flat out ask why they weren't invited because 'everyone was invited'. Um, everyone was not invited, only 5 people were invited and we work with 60! And to top it off I speak to you once every 2 months. Please don't ask me why you weren't invited because I will hurt your feelings...

i work in a hospital too. i work at winthrop university hospital. i have some people who are saying the same thng to me how come i didn't invite them there's only so many people u can invite. i just say i'm sorry but i'm limited to a certain amount. what hospital do u work at?

my boss, who happens to be a gay guy, asked me who i had invited from work....and then told me who he did and did not want sitting at his table!!

i'm so sorry! what the heck is wrong with people?! then there are the ones that invite themselves and others to the wedding
