It seems like it will help you lose weight but your probably going to be starving just eating cereal for breakfast and lunch!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Special K diet?
Ugh, have you heard my Special K woes. I started a few weeks ago. Turns out the first week I was not hungry, but was eating WAY more than the 1 cup per meal. Then I got bronchitis (unrelated to the diet) and stopped for a while. I have since resumed, and now dutifully measure one cup for lunch, one cup for breakfast, and cut out the banana on it because I wasn't losing weight with the banana. So, in short, I am cranky and starving all the time, so if I am losing weight it could be attributed to me not eating much period, not the Special K!
ETA: But I continue to do it, so I will let you know the results.

What I don't get it - won't you just gain any weight you lose as soon as you start eating 'normal' food again? I could not live on just cereal for 2 meals a day. Also - how nutritious is it to just eat cereal for 2 meals a day? I'm assuming that you eat healthy snacks also, but why not try something that hasmore variety that one would be more likely to stick to?

I've been pretty much on it for 3 or 4 weeks straight. I sometimes cheat on weekend lunches. You can snack on fruits and vegetables, but I cut out bananas to lose more quickly.
