special makeup

So, Im allergic to everything in the world. The only makeup that I can wear is mineral stuff, like Bare Escentuals, etc. Does anyone know of any makeup ppl who only use this? If I wear regular eye makeup my face will be a balloon halfway through my reception

OMG thats horrible, there is certain makeup that I am allergic to also, its a bad thing. Call up diff makeup artists and tell them about this and ask them if they carry this stuff or if you pick an artist you should buy the makeup that you want to use and have that artist apply it

Jillian from Gorgeous Faces uses mineral makeup....it's not the bare essentuals brand...she uses Jane Iredale (which is supposed to be better).

I'm using her because my mom is like you...she's even allergic to clinique, which is supposed to be hypo-allergenic.

I would just do my makeup myself if i was you because then at least you know your definately safe!

I wonder if any place offers classes in how to apply your own makeup in a special way? I want to look different than normal, and I'm not so good at hair and makeupy things.

Yes I beleive there are classes in the city where you can learn how to apply makeup, try to google it and you will find results

I used to know someone who used Jane Iredale makeup, it was really nice. She is no longer at the salon but if you go to the website it tells you what salons use it.

You can set up a trial with jillian and if you're skin doesn't react to what she uses (and if you like the way she does your make-up), then you can book her and have the peace of mind knowing you have a make-up for your wedding day that won't turn your face into a balloon. I have very sensitive skin and I break out in hives from most makeup. I used Jill Harth and before I went for my trial I talked to her and after asking me 100 questions about my skin and stuff she said that she had a makeup for me. (she has her own makeup line). Sure enough it worked great.
