Is anyone's FH planning on making a speech at the wedding to thank everyone? Or are both of you making one together?

i'm pretty sure FH will say something (he's MUCH better at the public speaking than i am!)
but of course I'll be right there with him when he does

WE DID! since we didn't have an RD--just as cake was being served, DH and i grabbed a mic and thanked everyone for being there.

My FH is nervous about making a speech. I'd really like for him to make one, and I'll be right there next to him. but he doesn't think it's necessary.

I think one or both of us will just grab the mic and say a quick thank you to everyone for coming - not so much a speech, but a thank you.

We did a really nice speech at our RD. We wanted to do one at the wedding, but we just didn't get the chance.........
