Speeches

Who and at what point in the wedding are they appropriate (RD, Wedding, etc) for the Bride & Groom, FMIL, FFIL, FOTB, MOTB, MOH, BM, etc...

Right before the 1rst course is served is usually when this is done.

we are not doing any. I don't think they are necessary, but if you want to do them, I believe the MOH, Best Man, and parents are the ones that usually do them

For the RD: DH made a speech right before we handed out the gifts to the WP.

For the Wedding: Our speeches were done as they were serving the first course. The BM went first followed by my Matron of Honor and then the Maid of Honor.

Is it usually the Groom's parents who make a speech at the RD and the Brides Parents at the Wedding? I know the MOH and BM speak at the wedding itself.

I dont want to make a big thing about it, just curious on how things are done :)
