Spending tooo much on Christmas!!!!!

Holy Cow.. I am done Christmas shopping ( FH has to pick up his dad's gift then we are officially done) and oooo my god we spent way too much this Christmas.. WENT OVERBOARD!!!! DEFINITELY!!!!! I started out by going overboard on my mother because my mother and father offered to pay for the entire reception, favors, and invites.....and then i just kept going OVERBOARD.. I MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!!!! no more shopping im done!!!! lol lol lol

I always set a budget for Christmas shopping and every year it fails, haha. I always loved giving gifts, especially to those close to me.

I'm sure you'll be making your family very happy and in return you'll feel good too.

I hope to be finished shopping soon. Maybe by the weekend. And then January 1st marks the day I start saving every penny possible for the wedding!

yeah, christmas spending takes on a whole new meaning too when you're trying to pay for a wedding reception. we were so relieved when our friends asked if we could NOT exchange gifts this year. every little bit helps, ESPECIALLY since we're trying to go away in february on top of everything else.

X-mas is great but, I am glad it comes once a year . This was the first year I had a budget and I think I did good and stood with in my range.

I went way overboard as well. Were heading to Ikea in about an hour so that means MORE shopping!! Oh bother...

I always go overboard... have for years! I am afraid to get my charge bill!! The only thing that saved me a little is that me and FH agreed no more then $150 each on each other, because of saving for the wedding!!

I am the same way.. I'm done now but, I have 30 people on my list and i am wayyyyyyy over budget. FH would kill me if he knew how much I spent on him.

Its weird I set a budget and a lot of stuff I bought for people was on sale and the only person I went overboard with as usual was FH.

I set a budget early on and then proceeded to spend my entire budget on FH so that went out the window

I set a budget too and that was blown 2 weeks agao...I have 3 gifts left to get and then I'm done...although I spent another $400 on FH today....

I was a little underbudget on extended family and friends but WAY WAY over budget on immediate family and FH...AHHH!! I seriously LOVE giving people presnts though and I feel thats the one time you can really spoil the ones you love. I've deceided that I'm just going to enjoy it until the bills come in January
