its not the 'most important' but its very essential. i think most important is love and trust.

i voted for 'somewhat important' ( i think), but i believe that without a good, healty sexual realtionship, no couple can survive. its the chemistry is not there, then i would have very little to go on

I think it's totally important, though years ago I might have said only somewhat. I have to agree, i think you need a healthy sexual relationship to survive. Also, I've seen how much closer it's made us, and how many times it's gotten us through times we felt disconnected or stressed or frustrated, and we knew it was kind of a space we could turn to to find peace in each other. Just to take the time to be in the quiet together for an extended period of time is so healing.

I definately agree that its ONE of the most important things...I believe trust, honesty and love come before it...but its definately up there...

well of course, love and all that jazz are important, but i know that if the good stuff wasn't there - i don't know where we'd stand.

Hah. I'm glad I'm not the only one. FH and I have asked each other if we had never had sex, would we still be together, and there's really no way of knowing it, because it has changed our realtionship so much, and it been part of the glue that held us togther. I was always afraid to saying that too loud, because ti makes it sound like we have a weak relationship. I'm glad it's somewhat normal to feel that way

i'm not saying we'd break up because we had bad sex ( if there is such a thing), but if we didn't have that kind of passion for one another, we may look at the relationship differently.

Oh Come on now!! We all know it's important! And we all know we'd be realy pissy if it weren't any good! LOL... will it make or brake the relationship????????????? I guess that all depends on how bad it is!!

I think all of us At one point have done that. there is nothing wrong with that. You can't always be in the mood.

I look at it as something u can share with ur patner....as long as its there...

If I'm at a point where I would want to ask him to do that, I'd rather just not have sex.

Just wondering....its just sometimes I cant get the energy to do it and he acts like a little kid. I feel bad but hey I guess if he doesnt mind doing all the work...

Well I think if its bad you would be unhappy and it would filter out into other aspects of your relationship. So with that said I think it is very important!
