Wanted to share my little detail that was inspired by a wedding show. They are flowers in syrup that bloom when champagne is poured in and they are also edible. You can put them in all sorts of different drinks. I bought the large jars because those hold 50 flowers in them.

Re: Spicing up the toast
Please let me know if they taste good! Do you think they're ruin the taste of a drink to those who know their liquor? I'm not much of a drinker but they look interesting, really different!

I don't think it will ruin the taste. It is only for the toast so I doubt anyone will complain. The flowers make it a little sweet and they smell sooooooo good!

I'm really interested in this, so I showed it to my fiance and he asked me, 'are you sure it's not poisonous?' I'm not sure!
Which store did you buy them from? Were they expensive? Maybe I'll experiment on myself and try these out.

What initiates the bloom? Can it be used with carbonated sparking water also?

Ok I seriously want these. How much were they and where did you get them? Do you place a flower in each glass? How does that work?

Re: Spicing up the toast
Hmn.. did you check with the hall to make sure they'll be okay with it? I mean, they have to put a flower in every single glass then. I love the idea, so if Fox Hollow would allow it, I would definitely be interested in getting these. It's such a nice touch.
Thank you for sharing

I did not check with the hall. If anything I will have my DOC make sure that it happens.

It should work. Basically the fizz from drinks should make it bloom.

Re: Spicing up the toast
It works by placing a flower into each glass and some syrup from the jar if you want some taste. You can find videos on youtube about them.
I bought mine at amazon for 28 each and the shipping was alot because those suckers are heavy. For the two bottles I spent 71 I think. Just bargain hunt on amazon or ebay because on the official site they are like 40 bucks per jar. They have smaller jars of 12 flowers if you want to just try it.

OMG! I have one of those! lol. I keep forgetting that they are actually there to work and not just make sure things run smoothly. I must be just a total ditz. I really would love your review and pictures, since my wedding is a few months after yours.. if you can remember to post it..
