Spiders.....eeeeeeeeek!!!!

FH and I got the keys to our new home last night and I refuse to walk in through the front door b/c the railings and above the door is COVERED with steriod sized spiders!!!!

How do I get rid of them.........for good (insert evil laugh here).

FH said he'll powerwash the house which could potentially shoot the spider down the block LOL but they could crawl back and make another web.

Is there something we can spray??? Any help would be MUCH appreciated and I'm petrified of spiders and if one of them finds its way into the house I'm moving back to my parents house!!!!

Do you live on or near the water? I live on a canal in bellmore and there are spiders everywhere! If you get an exterminator, it costs a fortune because they have to suit up to spray up! Ridiculous! I just keep vigilant with corners of my ceilings and on top of light fixtures. They are worse when summer turns to fall and when winter turns to spring!

Powerwashing works wonders LOL!!! We shot that thing across the lawn - he was pretty hurting when we found him hahahaaaa!!!!!
