Spin around Sound- Anyone have Rio as DJ?

Spin around sound says they would have Rio do my wedding as a DJ/MC if I was interested. I've heard great reviews about Tom and Anthony. Does anyone have any feedback on Rio? What was he like? Pleasant? Knew his music? Txs.

We had Rio as our DJ and Anthony as our MC and were very happy with them. Both were very nice and professional.

Thanks Karen. Tom plans to have Rio do the Mc and DJ. Do you think he would make a good MC? I plan to meet with him as well but any input is appreciated.

I think he probably would be a good MC too. The whole day was quite a blur, and since we planned from Boston, I never got the chance to meet him beforehand, only spoke over the phone and at the reception itself, but he had a nice voice, strong and clear. You don't have to worry about any hard to understand accent, or anything like that. If I had to pick just a couple of words to describe him, what comes to mind is friendly and upbeat. I got the sense that under his professionalism was a good sense of humor and confidence. When I spoke to him on the phone he seemed like he'd done this a thousand times before. I think he could handle whatever you want, either low-key with minimal MC'ing or stepping in to get the guests involved if you want that or if the guests need a little prompting to get active.

Karen, Thanks for the review. I have no doubt Spin around Sound is good after all the reviews I'm hearing. But all the reviews were about Tom or Anthony and Anthony. Even Chris but nothing on Rio. Was worried I was being passed an outsider DJ since Tom was booked. Your reply is great news to me and thanks for taking the time to respond. :)
