spin class??? UPDATE!!!!

So I'm taking my first spin class tonight!!! Has anyone taken them before if so any thoughts??

First off thanks for the encouraging words yesterday..... and btw I LOVED SPIN CLASS!!! I am sore as a (beeeeep).... but I loved it can't wait to take it again next Monday!!

ahhh i miss going! my work schedule won't allow me to anymore. it's seriously the best work out. stick through the whole class, even when you want to give up and feel like you can't do anymore. you will feel amazing after.

go to a sporting goods store and buy a gel seat. theyre about 20 bucks and believe me it will save your hiney!

I've been taking spin for a little over a month and its excellent. You burn so many calories and the classes are only 45 mins!

Where are you taking it?

SPIN IS AWESOME
I am an addict
I have been sick for over a month and have not gone :( I miss it.

you will be fine
go easy the first time...it can be killer.

just wear good sneakers with good support, you don't need to get the spin shoes but just make sure your sneakers have good arch support or it will be painful after a while.

Good luck with that. I went to one two weeks ago and I though my rear end would be broken forever. Those seats are a killer.

I went to one spin class. It was awesome, but I couldn't walk for a week afterwards! Totally envigorating though...great if you love to work out till you're ready to pass out!
