So i know people say that they will live with FH after the wedding, but how much after do you mean? I just have a high anxiety about not being able to secure a place before the wedding and having to go back to my old bedroom at my parents house. I don't know why it's such a big deal for me, but I fear this like the plague!
Please give me your thoughts, opinions, and ideas about what you plan to do. I will not feel married if we have no place to go to together after the wedding.

FH and I will begin to look for a house i would say starting December 2009. (this is if we feel we can afford one, or a down payment at least).. this gives us a few months to find a house and to close. So hopefully we will have the house for after we are married. If we don't go the house route, then we will find an apt to rent.

everyone i know who has gotten married did not live with their FH until after their wedding. what they did was either got an apartment, condo or house prior to getting married. set it up before the wedding but still stay at their parents homes until after their honeymoon. so you should start to look for an apartment a couple months prior to your wedding.

we are going to look for an apartment about 6-8 months before the wedding, attempt to get approved for it (we have s*ckcy credit...) and then have FH move in prior to the wedding, i will stay over on weekends probably, then the first nigght after the wedding (once we get back from the hotel before the honeymoon) I will be 100% moved in with FH.

I feel like we HAVE to live together once we're married. If I lived on Long Island he lived in the city still it'd be like we're seperated or something- that'd just be weird.

we are moving in after the wedding literally after the wedding lol we will start looking for a place in the summer so that we are sure we have a place to move in by our wedding day. I know how you feel i wouldn't want to be in my old bedroom or in his old bedroom!

We plan on looking next September so hopefully 6 months will be enough time. He lives in his parents basement so if worse comes to worse we will live down there while we are still looking after we are married or will find another basement apartment that we don't have to sign a lease for.

Girls I was stressed about this when I first got engaged but it worked out. We bought a coop and have set it up and everything and are moving in November..we stay there weekends and have friends over lol random I know....
I remeber being so nervous but it'll work itself out

We'll be looking to move out over the summer so plan to look this spring.
We were hoping to look over the summer and be moved out in the fall... but it didn't work out that way, gotta roll with it.
