Spin-off from 08: FH/DH would never__________ until I came along....

My DH would never have applied for a management position at his job and gotten it, then went back to college, then became a police officer (his dream, or learned to stand up to his dad and live his own life and matured......untl I came along!

My FH would never have joined the Marines, gotten his degree and pursue his dreams of joining the FBI if I hadn't come along to encourage him in his dreams.

I don't know if I could say never because it was something he always wanted to do...

but I was definitely the push to get him back to NJ! He mighta been stuck in GA a LOT longer if it weren't for me. He emotionally admitted to me (well, after he had enough to drink to get emotional ) that the best thing he ever did was log onto that website and then email me because it was his push to change his life for the better!

FH would never would have splurged on a lawn tractor, gone to Camp Jeep, bought the house. He tends to be overly careful with money and I have more of a tendencey to splurge - together we keep each other in check

no but really...i've encouraged him to get his career on the ball and now he is a successful electrician with the union!

...never have started the career he has today, stood up to his baby's momma, learned to put his foot down and say 'no' on occasion to his child, and learned that Rogaine might not be such a bad thing

DH would have never gone to Yale if I hadnt suggested he go to a Community college and then transfer to an ivy. He would also still be at West Point.

FH wouldnt have a job working in sports now which he loves (he works for my aunt). he wouldnt have moved out from under his father's shadow. he definitely would never have moved to brooklyn!
