Spin off of grooms cake question..

When do you usually 'present' the grooms cake? At the rehearsal dinner or at the wedding?

I think it's pretty much your choice but most brides present it at the reh dinner.

You can do it at either one. I think I am going to do mine at the RD because we are having a full Viennese Hour. I want everyone to enjoy it and I think at our reception the focus will be on our wedding cake and I want the grooms cake to be something really special for him.

I would love to get FH a golf related cake because he loves it and plays every weekend, but I couldn't even begin to guess at price! Are they generally expensive? Someone posted a couple months ago some really cute golf themed ones..I wonder where she was looking....
