Spin-off of how to include a deceased parent on the invite . . .

Any suggestions on how to word my parents, FH dad and his wife, AND his mother (who is deceased) on the invite?

I know my parents should come first, since they are paying for a large part of the wedding, but other than that I am a little lost

Mr. & Mrs. Louis __________

along with

Mr. & Mrs. Ronald _______
and the late AnnaMarie_________

Cordially invite you to the marriage of their children,

Brianne __________

and

Brian ____________

UUGGHHH . . . I don't know . . . I just can't get it to sound right . . . I know some of you girls are very good with wording, so I would appreciate your help with this as well!!! Thanks!

that makes it seem like the deceased parent is inviting...

I used the Karen daughter of MOM AND LATE DAD approach cause I couldnt find something better.

We wanted to do that too but ended up just using 'together with their families'. We're paying for our own wedding, and three out of four of our parents are deceased, so we just couldn't get any wording to sound right. Did you ask the place where you're getting your invitations? They should be able to help you.

That is what I am doing. I don't want it to sound like my dad (who passed away) is inviting anyone.

I was invited to a wedding where they said

Mr & Mrs. John Smith
along with
Mrs. Alcia Thomas
and in loving memory of Mr. Tom Thomas
Invite you to join them....

I am totally confused about this as well. My mom is deceased and I really want to do Mr. and Mrs. so and so request the honor of your prescence.... I don't really want to use 'the late' before my mom's name. I know my mom is deceased and it is awkward wording but my heart is telling me to do it this way. My mom is the type of person who would have wanted to be included as much as possible. Although she is deceased I know she would have given us her blessing.

I like the wording of that one as well. That is a good suggestion.
