Spin-off of Wedding Thank You's!

What do you girls do with the wallet pics that you get in the thank you's usually? I mean, who really keeps a hold of these things? And if you do hold onto them, where exactly do you put them? LoL Just me thinking that its such a waste of more $$ to have them printed up... Thinking a picture printed on a card may be the way to go

I would go with that. I don't even know what to do with all the wallets I get. they just end up getting lost. Thank you cards with pics on it however go into my card box.

One is on my fridge, another is in the frame they gave us as a favor, and some more are in a box.

If Im not mistaken, I thought to get the pics printed on the card itself, it was more expensive. Not sure though...

i think the printed picture on the card is definitely the way to go and is more appreciated and this way people aren't just tossing the wallet pics

You could give them to family members. I know my parents have my wallet size picture in their wallet from like 5 yrs ago lol When Fh and I get married, I would love for them to update with a new pic

I didnt realize they give you wallets....Or are you talking about including them in the thank you notes.

FH and I want to bring a THANK YOU sign with us and make that into a card for thank you's.

Yea they do that.... I didnt know thats what you meant though. I know Patken does thank you cards with pictures on it. It looks really nice!!!

Close fam is diff story... of course id give them pics... but like i dunno... my 3rd cousin and our friends... why do they want a reg pics of us? lol

Yea thats true lol The whole putting them on the card is a really good idea.... its like giving everyone a thank you card with a professional picture taken of you guys on the front.

I actually do keep them and I put them in this plastic drawer where I keep all my bills and payments and things like that... every few years I clean it out and I see those pics and if we still talk to the couple I keep the pic, if not I throw it out! lol

I'm stupid and I don't get it. Bring a Thank you sign to the wedding? And take pictures with it for the thank you cards? Is that what you mean?

I think we're just going to do the photo thank yous, a la the picture Christmas cards we get sent every year. Then, on the back, we'll write our official 'thank you for the gift.' Easier than including wallets! I'm more inclined to keep those types of cards (we actually have a couple from some friends of ours hanging on our fridge)!!!

I feel the opposite. I throw out cards and keep pics on the fridge for a while or even in a frame if it's close fam.

I haven't received any photos, I either received a photo card (my sister, so kept it obviously), or a card with no photo at all. Ours will be a photo card, so killing 2 birds.

a picture card is nicer!! My photog package includes 75 TY jumbo pics and I'm not ordering extra thru them bc they charge $2 per pic. I'll prob just order some through shutterfly, I did my STDs on shutterfly and I paid like $40 for 100 pics that came with the envelopes.

The invites from my photographer are like this.. its a foldover thank you and the front of the card is the picture... I love them but i just wish they were already written out.. lol.. now i have to write 100 thank yous! ugh...
