SPIN OFF TO CATERER DILEMMA: can i sue for more...
i'm looking into small claims court. the max to sue for in nj and stay in small claims court is $3000.
i was wondering, since i'm going to have to take this route... can i sue for more than the $500.
this is my train of thought... had she not bailed, i would not have had to hire someone else last minute, who ended up being more than twice her price. can i sue for the additional costs of FOOD???
