spin off to hourulas 'bleh' thread- ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR PHOTOS?

I know I am NOT happy with my photos or with my actual photographer....

and I know there's been a few girls on here that are as unhappy as I am.

so I'm curious as to who is happy and who isn't.

if you don't mind, share your photographer company and actual photographer.

I don't have my photos back yet - the day was such a blur that I'm trying to remember if all the pictures I asked for were taken

holy crap, that was fast.. by the time i gave my poll answer there were 2 others..


um, you all know i am not happy with my pictures.
i really didn't like my photographer (nicole from patken).. i mean, she really was an absolute 100% SWEETHEART, but i didn't like the way I was brushed off and ignored... and we really do not like the proofs... i mean, there are some we like.. but out of 1000+ photos we only like about 3 or 4... thats not cool.

Super happy with them! We used Twelfth Night and our photog was Mike.

The only thing that I wasn't happy with was MY FAULT...a couple of must-take ones that I didn't list on a fax to them and thought I would remember that day. I didn't because we were having too much fun and it slipped my mind. No biggie, and again, my fault there!

I love them and i think they are perfect...

there are lots of pics i wish i had but its not their fault...

I absolutely love my photographers...I hate that I didn't lose more weight before my wedding and that I drank SOOOO much before pictures. So half and half

I love my pics! They came out much better than i was expecting. There were some shots that I wanted and didn't get, but it was my fault for not mentioning them. My photographer worked really well with what she had (cars in background...mirrored walls...messy hotel room...BP doing their own thing) and the pics are more that I hoped for!

I am not super happy with mine - and posted a scathing review of them on Wedding Wire and the Admin over there deleted it

Needless to say, we did get over 1100 proofs back but at least 500 of those proofs were pics I can't use for anything because they have people's eyes closed, people have mouths open, I'm not facing the camera or DH isn;t, also a LOT of the pictures were taken so far away that we look like dots in a landscape., They also missed pics of my bouquet wrap.

I can go on and on but really - there's no point. Whats done is done. Its a matter of personal preference to be honest, my mother hated them more than I do but everyone else (DH, MIL, my dad, cousins, friends and co-workers) all say they came out amazing... So I'd have to say I feel like its a 50/50 outcome.

i was a bit disappointed. we had 2 photog and expected just more angles and more shots. didnt happen. it seems like they took turns taking photos instead

some shots were missed (like the dip at the end of our dance)...both photogs were there and the dip took long, i feel like one of them should have moved to get the right photo angle and not just the top of my head

and maybe its just cuz i was sooo into finding the right photographer, etc, but i noticed a few nitpicky items that i feel that a professional should have captured.......like when the boys are lined up, why would they put the shortest guy towards the middle. it looks so stupid! if he was at the end it wouldnt have been as noticeable and would have looked more symmetric (maybe thats just me being picky tho)

eta: also, when there is a pic of the entire bridal party outside of the church, two girls are looking away. we had 2 photogs taking the same picture....couldnt one have noticed and said 'look there'

not answering in the poll because I only have 13 teasers so far and am waiting on the rest BUT I LOVE the teasers, and I LOVEDDD the e-pics my photog did so as of now I am VERY happy!!!

Photog is Jessica Guadagno, not a vendor on here but she is amazing and I highly recommend her!!!

i love my pictures... there are a few pictures that were missed but that was just bc of time and me getting annoyed so i cant blame that on the photogs.

we used Thomas Paul and i had collene and lisa and Dh had John. they were great! they all went up and beyond for me. DH loved John and that was amazing in it self! she made sure to try and not have things in the background, or moved stuff for and made it wokr! Collene was a doll and knew what i wanted and knew when i was hitting my limit. she said she wanted me to enjoy my wedding so lets get this done! she was great! She got how my limo driver was dressed for me, bc he was deff not dressed like he was suppose to be!

cant wait to the TTD with them!

i loved all my photos. we had a mix of traditional and photojournalistic.
we used Patken. my main photog was Jessie and we had a 2nd one, Nick.

I have to say the same thing- my mom's house was not photog ready the day of the wedding! lol! But Jay worked miracles around it! When we first saw the teaser pics the first thing I said was 'OMG! Mom, your floors look amazing!' They did though!

i absolutely love my wedding pics!! we used imagine studios and our photogs were lia and maria.

ETA: i also agree with ang. there were a few more BP shots i would have wanted, but it was our fault.

It didn't look bad to me!!! Way to go Arek! I had to get ready in my 16 y/o sister's room- the bed wasn't made or anything. lol! I don't even know how poor Jay walked around in that tiny little space with all the BMs and everything.
