what is the band or song that really got you through some hard times?

the one you could / can blast that would make everything bad around you seem irrelevant

2 bands:

Garbage got me through most of my adolesence as well as present day. Shirley has always been my inspriatioin

Muse: Believe it or not, I heard them on xm over the summer and drowned myself in there albums. Currently the songs they write and perform really keep my head above water, and encourage me.

The Smiths/Morrissey (I know...shocker, right Kris?)- the music could be depressing and I have to immerse myself very far in my hard times to get out of them. And his peppy, happy songs put me in a great mood.

Eminem

I was beyond obsessed! I knew all the lyrics by heart and when I was feeling down would listen to something snarky and when I was happy would listen to something angry

oh and I was planning on marrying him.....
