It would still be supportive in the same way. If she wants to bring her husband no matter what the situation is she should be alloweed to.

Same answer - he should still be invited as per her request. You can't fault her for trying to make her marriage work. Of course it's more awkward, but if the marriage actually works out then FH's family will have to deal with that.

I agree with Barb. I would let FSIL and FHs family make the decision.

I think my answer is the same.......she is old enough to know where and where not to bring someone........if she decides and wants to bring him, I think she should be allowed

ITA w/Barb. and I think ur FH needs to tell her its her decision and she should talk it over w/her husband before involving anyone else and then talk to her family if he does want to come

I had assumed that she was your FSIL when I read the first question, because otherwise, why would most of her family be there, know what i mean? (Unless, I guess, if it's a cousin.)
Either way, they're both adults and it's hard to invite someone with a guest but tell them who their guest can or cannot be.
I'm sure no one will go out of their way to make a scene on your big day. I do agree to have him in a few photos, but not a ton. This way, if things work out, cool. If not, cool.

agreed, i originally assumed you were talking about fsil, so my advice stays the same.
