Spin-off to people you don't know...

I have a topic of conversation for everyone. How many people did you not know at your own wedding? I would say about half. My in-laws invited everyone from their town, including some people they hadn't seen in over 10 years. I had about 189 at my wedding. I probably didn't know 90 people. When I got my video back there are scenes of people I don't know and I want to erase them from the screen. Luckily my videographer was good and focused mostly on my bridal party, etc. People were running up to me all excited to see me and I'm like.. 'and you are..' It was no big deal. I figure it just made more witnesses to how phenomenal my wedding was. My DH and I were the talk of their town

I guess I would say I probably didn't know maybe like 6-8 at the most. . .
I just pretended to know them, and said 'hey! how are you! you look great! thanks so much for coming!' meanwhile theyre probably looking at me like 'ive never met u be4'

My in laws had a very long list of who to invite and they actually wanted help cutting the list. I asked them to cut it at people I have never met. DH and I were together for a few years and there had been several family events by the time of my wedding. As it turns out, there may have been a small # of people at the wedding that I had never met, but I had heard a lot about them, or knew their other immediate family, etc. We had 175 people. The majority of the guests were friends of ours. My own family is very small.

FH and I will each not know about 4 people.... mom's friends for FH, and for me, a few of his distant relatives. Otherwise, we know everyone!!!

DH isn't that close with all of his family so I had never met 9 of them. Then we invited 2 couples at the last minute to meet our minimum, I had met once before but didn't really know. Two of my BMs brought friends as guests that I didn't know. As well as some cousins who brought guests that I didn't know. And 3 other couples that are family but I don't really know.

I probably wont know a decent amount of people, but luckily for the e-party bc I'll get to meet ALOT of people then...FH has a HUGE family, close to 100 of them are coming to our e-party so yeah i dont know all of them yet.

i didn't know dh's uncle and about 3/4 of his friends (about 12 total).

i had a small wedding.

Am I really the only one here who will know every single person at her wedding? That can't be true! We're having around 80 people, and neither my parents nor his asked to invite any of their friends. So, it's all just our friends and families, and we've been together for 4 years so we each know each other's friends and families.

There were only 2 people I didn't know at our wedding but I knew of them. One was DH's boss' wife and the other was a friend of his. Everyone else we both knew.

I'm not going to know a decent amount of people at mine. FH has a huge family (many of whom I have never met and he doesnt even remember). I would estimate that I wont know about 50 of the 175 that we're inviting.
