Spin-off to 'tired of wedding crap' post

Last night I was talking to FH about how I must seem so boring to my friends bc all I ever have to talk about is the wedding. When someone asks me 'wats up' or 'wats new', I literally have nothing to say unless its about the wedding! To make matters worse one of my bffs is a guy and he could care less about this crap, so nowadays I feel like we have nothing to talk about! I have to consciously restrict the wedding talk but its hard bc its all I ever THINK ABOUT.

Is anybody else as obsessed as I am???

this is how i feel too - im consciously restricting my wedding talk!

That's why I posted I feel a bit better knowing I'm not the only freak I think I also ask people about themselves and what's going on with them, I don't only speak about my wedding. It's a challenge not not bring it up all of the time though because 1. I'm really excited and 2. a lot of what I'm doing now with a month and a half left revolves around wedding things--dress fittings, rsvps, samples, generally finalizing things, etc.

I prefer to ask others wats goin on in their lives bc they usually have more interesting things to talk about, rather than listen to me talk about invitation details or whether I should add a sash to my bridesmaids dresses

i have to admit there are times even on this board when im like ENOUGH of the wedding talk

but i try to contain myself as much as possible, sometimes it slips.

OMG so true!! lmao Today I told myself I wouldnt even go on bc I have too much work to do and the wedding talk is exhausting...but here I am!!

Yep me too...I only talk 24/7 to my mom about wedding stuff. Everyone else not so much unless they ask.

yup!! i try to catch myself cause since school ended its all ive been obsessing over! I annoy myself!

I'm the opposite. I hate talking about the wedding, especially with people who aren't invited or who I just know superficially. I mean, no one really cares about these things but us! which is why we have this site
