I was going to suggest this after reading the depressing sad song thread!

My current happy song is Beautiful Day by U2 - I've heard it 1000 times but it was our entrance song to our wedding reception and it always puts a smile on my face when I hear it.

The VH1 1980's series when they play the Makeup Songs of that Year. I love that and always smile because I think 'Hum. which boy did I kiss to that song

Any special song that I had requested be played at my wedding.

The Theme from the Breakfast Club- because it reminds me of that weekend when my friends and I saw the movie on Friday night and then twice on Saturday (we stayed for the second showing without paying, remember those days?) and still wanted to watch it again.

How will I Know by Whitney Houston- my best friend LOVED that song and would dance to it whenever it was playing on the radio. I still remember her doing that, singing along. So it makes me smile

I went away this past weekend w/ 2 of my bms. Every song we made the dj play should be listed here, so I'm trying to remember them all....heregoes:

Paradise by the Dashboard LIght - Meatloaf
the whole entire Grease Soundtrack - makes my friends and I act like fools
Kiss me Deadly - Lita Ford
basically any 80's hair band music makes me feel like I'm 12 again - and thats a good thing!

OMG - Kelly!! I LOVE THAT SONG!!! I got so excited a few weeks ago b/c I was in a movie theater and before the movie it came on and I was freaking out! I love it!
